Foreign Missions Ministry

The Foreign Missions Ministry is a vital work that encompasses Jesus’ charge to “Go to all the world to preach the gospel.” This ministry team has been commissioned to encourage, educate, and facilitate Westgate members whose hearts have been called to assist these works. Our goal is to offer support to and build relationships with our foreign missionaries, educate Westgate’s members and children about the work of foreign missions, and encourage short-term mission efforts. In addition to the two full-time missionaries we can support with cards and letters of encouragement (and even an occasional care package), we also offer opportunities to involve members in various short-term missions such as mission trips to assist and support our full time missionaries, Spring Break campaigns, and other possible opportunities and works in Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil.
