Women’s Ministry

This Summer Join the Ladies of Westgate for a 6 week Bible Study. We will be using Angela Thomas’ “Do You think I’m Beautiful” Series to delve into the word of God and see what the Almighty Creator has to say about beauty.

We will begin on July 6th and go till August 17. We will have the Ladies class in conjunction with regular Wednesday night Service, so child care will be provided. There are also 5 daily devotions for each chapter and an opportunity for women to join in a discussion group on a different day. We hope to offer discussion groups for both a day time and evening time to better facilitate the Ladies of our church.

There is a display board set up in the short hall with more info and a sign up sheet so we know how many books to order.

The Women’s Ministry at Westgate consists of several ministries women can be involved in as a way to serve and encourage one another in our church. There are thirteen committees one could choose to serve on: Wedding Shower Committee, Ladies Retreat Committee, Meals for New Moms, Nursery Committee, Ladies’ Suppers, Baptism Assistance Committee, Food for the Sick or Bereaved, Pies for New Members, Baby Showers, High School Graduation Celebration, Prayer Warrior Committee, Encouragement Committee/Gems and Jewels, and Ladies’ Bible Class. Involvement in these committees is a great way to help people, and meet new faces as we bless others, serve others, and serve the Lord.
