We will continue to look at Jesus’s return to his hometown, this part of the text is where people begin to turn on him. The good news Jesus brings is for all people (Gentiles included), not just them, and that makes them mad. We need to have an open and welcoming attitude that is excited for others when good news comes their way. When we decenter ourselves, good news for others becomes good news to us.
