Psalm 139: 23-24 A major component in the process of completely surrendering to God is to invite God to show us our sin, anxieties, and anything else we need to change. We will emphasize sin we know is there but refuse to handle, and sin/issues we block out or are not aware of. We will be encouraged to confess our sin to others. Link to full service
Travel Mercies
Psalm 121 The message and scriptures emphasized will focus on God’s goodness. We will acknowledge that the good in life doesn’t come from our planning, money, or others but ultimately from God. This is a Psalm of Ascent (as is another one we will look at) so we will also look at this from the perspective of travel.
The Strength of God
Psalm 24:7-8 We will explore what it means for God to be the “King of Glory”. In Scripture, God’s people often look to God for strength when they are weakest. But God doesn’t always show His power in ways we expect, because God’s victories usually look like defeat to the outside world. God is still powerful and fights our battles for us today.
