Esther 1: 10-12
Xerxes was “proud” of his wife’s beauty but treated her like a piece of property. Xerxes shows us the exact opposite of loving our wives like Christ loves the Church. We will be challenged to honor, respect, and show off/brag on our spouses (and other relationships) in ways that are about them, for them, and not us.
